INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY ART

11 dni mednarodne sodobne umetnosti

50 umetnikov, 11 kustsov, 15 sodeujočih držav, 35 dogodkov, 5 nacionalnih paviljonov, 5 mednarodnih sodobnih projektov, 5 art stays projektov, več kot 15 različnih razstavnih prostorov in galerij, 10-dnevno umetniško gostovanje in serija en mesec trajajočih razstav. Vse to sestavlja bogat program nove edicije festivala ART STAYS za ART PTUJ 2010!

ART STAYS, Mednarodni festival sodobne umetnosti, katerega umetniški vodja je Jernej Forbici, bo združil v svojem programu multimedijske razstave, performanse, konference, javne dogodke in site-specific dela, predavanja, laboratorije in delavnice ter druge zanimive dogodke v mestu Ptuju in njegovi okolici. Štejemo si v čast gostovati pomembne umetnike in kustose iz mednarodne kulturne scene. Njihova podpora in sodelovanje bo povečalo moč ART STAYS-a, mednarodnega festivala sodobne umetnosti in njegovega cilja, da ostane najpomembnejši dogodek sodobne likovne umetnosti v regiji, predvsem zaradi novih projektov in uspešnega sodelovanja s preko tridesetimi zasebnimi in javnimi institucijami iz Slovenije in Evrope.

11 days of international contemporary art 

50 artists, 11 curators, 15 countries present, 35 events, 5 national pavillion, 5 international contemporary projects, 5 art stays projects, more than 15 different spaces and galleries involved, 10-day residency working sessions and a calendar of 4 weeks of exhibitions, all for one big event program. These are the numbers of ART STAYS’s new edition for ART PTUJ 2010!

Curated by Jernej Forbici, ART STAYS, International festival of Contemporary Art will join together in its program multimedia exhibitions, performances, conferences, public events and site specific works, lectures, laboratories and other interesting appointments in the city of Ptuj. It is an honour to have important artists and curators from the international cultural scene. Their support and participation will significantly strengthen ART STAYS, International festival of Contemporary Art and its scope to be the most important contemporary art event in the region,  thanks also to new open projects and by great collaboration of more than 30 public and privat Slovenian and European Istitutions.
