The last Lord of Ptuj, who died in 1438, was one of the well-known Lords of Ptuj, who were great benefactors and patrons of art. Other than the Dominican monastery and the Minorite monastery in Ptuj, they built, together with the most noted aristocrats from Styria, the pilgrimage church of the Mantled Virgin Mary at Ptujska Gora between 1390 and 1410.
